Grate cucumber and squeeze it. But don't throw the squeezed water.
In a pan add desi ghee and semolina.
Roast semolina till it slightly changes colour.
Lower the heat & add grated cucumber.
Now make 1 cup of water including squeezed one. If the squeezed water is less than one cup, then add simple water to the cucumber water to make it one.
Add water to the pan & mix.
Add grated Jaggery & pinch of salt.
When Jaggery melts, add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Mix.
Let it cook for some time till the time mixture starts leaving the pan.
Now spread the mixture in a greased tin & place the tin in a steamer.
Steam the mixture for 15 minutes & then take the tin out of steamer.
Once cool down completely, bring the cake out of tin.
Cut into pieces of desired size & enjoy.
