Add rice flour, semolina, curd and salt in a bowl. Quantity of all the ingredients is given in the recipe card below.
Give them a good mix.
Now start adding water, little at a time.
Keep mixing until a thick batter is ready. To make the batter of appropriate consistency, we needed to add approximately 1.5 cup of water.
Rest for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, mix the batter on more time.
Add carrot, onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chilies.
Mix well.
Lastly add baking soda.
Mix very well.
Pour few drops of oil in all the cavities of appe pan.
Drop the batter in all the cavities. Do not fill till the rim.
Put a lid and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat.
Pour 1-2 drops of oil over the top of all appe.
Thereafter flip all the appe.
Again cover and cook for 2 minutes.
When appe turn golden brown from both the sides, take them off the pan.
Likewise prepare all the appe till batter is over.
Rice flour appe are ready. Enjoy
