Grease a cake tin and place a butter paper in it. Also grease the butter paper.
Take 6-7 washed strawberries and slice them lengthwise.
Arrange all the chopped slices on the butter paper placed in baking tin. Keep aside.
Take a bowl and add 1/4 cup curd in it.
Then add 1/4 tsp baking soda and mix well.
Rest for 5 minutes.
Then add 1/4 cup oil, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup strawberry puree and 1 tsp vanilla essence.
Mix them very well.
Put a sieve on the bowl.
Add 1 cup wheat flour, 1 tsp baking powder and pinch of salt in the sieve.
Sift them into the bowl.
Mix using cut and fold method.
Pour the batter in the baking tin over the strawberries.
Tap the tin so that batter gets spreaded .
Bake @180°C in a pre-heated oven for 35-40 minutes in the middle rack of oven with both the rods on.
Take the cake out and check by inserting a toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean means cake is properly baked.
Let cake cool down for 15 minutes.
Thereafter invert the cake on cooling rack and let it cool down completely.
