Chapati is one of the most commonly eaten food item of India without which Indian meal is totally incomplete.

1 cup = 250 ml
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp oil
- Water as required
Add flour and oil in a bowl.
Mix them well.
Now start adding water and keep on mixing the flour.
Knead the flour into a dough for atleast 5 minutes.
Cover the dough with damp cloth and rest for 10 minutes.
Now take a small portion of dough and roll it between your palms.
Dust some flour on a rolling board and with the help of rolling pin, start rolling the ball into a flat disk.
Now shift the flat disk on a hot griddle.
Cook it from both the sides. Use a kitchen cloth with light hands to press the uncooked sides of disk.
Take it off the griddle, apply ghee and serve hot.
