Eggless Ragi chocolate Cookies with Jaggery is an easy to make glutenfree cookies made with just 5 ingredients.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 250 ml

  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 cup Ragi atta (140 gram - finger millet flour)
  • 1/2 cup sugar of your choice (105 gram - we used Jaggry powder)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl and add butter in it. Whisk it until butter turns creamy.
  • Add jaggery powder and whisk it again.
  • Add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix very nice.
  • Bring it together into a dough.
  • Keep the dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Now start giving the dough a shape of cookies, the way you like. As this flour is gluten-free, so it is tough to roll. We have greased a surface with oil, flattened a part of dough with hand and  gave the shape to dough with cookie cutter.
  • Arrange all the cookies on a baking tray lined with greased butter paper.
  • Refrigerate the tray for about 1 hour so that butter in the cookies get solidifies.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven @170°C for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Ragi chocolate biscuits are ready. Enjoy
