Step wise pictorial recipe
- Take cornflakes and crush them with hands. You need to crush them just course. Keep aside.
- In another bowl, add rice flour, black pepper powder and black salt.
- Add water to make a slightly thick batter. As batter should be thick so be careful while adding water. Add water spoon by spoon. Keep aside.
- Peel banana and cut it in reasonable sized pieces.
- Now its a time for frying so keep the oil on heat for turning hot.
- Take first piece of banana, dip it in batter and then roll it in crushed corn flakes so that banana piece is coated properly from all sides.
- Put it in the oil and fry on medium heat till turns slightly golden. Likewise fry all pieces of banana.
- Bring out on paper napkin to remove excess oil.
- You Banana Flakes are ready to be served.
Serve them hot with Tomato Ketchup
NOTES
- Black salt and banana combination works best but in case you don’t have black salt, use regular salt.
- rice flour can be replaced with all purpose flour.

- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
