There’s nothing like a drink which is healthy and at the same time easy to make also. This badam kesar Milkshake / almond saffron milkshake has all the ingredients of an healthy drink and very easy to make. Let’s have a look at the recipe.

Milk (chilled) – 1 Glass
Almonds – 6-7
*Kesar / saffron strands – 3-4
Sugar as per taste
Cardamom essence or cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Ice cubes – 2-3
1. Soak the almonds overnight & in the morning, remove their skin. Keep aside.
2. Take 2 tbsp of milk from 1 glass in a small bowl.
3. Add kesar/saffron strands in a bowl and let it remain there soaked for 10 minutes. Keep aside.
4. After 10 minutes, take a blender, add milk, saffron soaked milk, sugar and cardamom powder and blend all the ingredients just for a minute and serve the drink chilled.
*If you don’t have the saffron / kesar, you can use yellow food colour also or can skip it at all….and your drink will be renamed to Almond Milk Shake.
*If you forgot to soak the almonds overnight, no issues. Boil the almonds in sufficient quantity of water for 2 to 3 minutes and then remove their skin. But overnight soaked almonds give the best results, not taste wise, but health wise. So always prefer to use overnight soaked almonds.
